Megan Marie Hardwick is Cassandra and Nathaniel’s daughter. She was born January 17, 2004, in Vienna-on-the-Lake, Illinois.
An intelligent child, Megan turns bossy and opinionated once puberty hits.
Her best subject in school is math, and she wants to be an accountant.
Her best friend is Cadence. Other friends are Emily, Oliva, Kylie, Taylor, Trinity, Savannah and Jordan.
Megan’s first boyfriend, Colton Bixler, took her to homecoming, but they broke up once she discovers he saw something he shouldn’t have. Her second boyfriend, Gavin Delong, wants to go into construction and become an independent contractor. She dreams of running the business with him.
Megan’s first job is at Ivy’s Ice Cream Parlor, and she temporarily does modeling work for Jeanine Pennypiece, owner of The Urban Suburban Chic.
In high school, Megan is a member of the National Honor Society, the Math Team, the Academic Team, Sexuality and Gender Equality Club and the Jazz Choir and is an AP Scholar. She attends Northeastern Illinois University on a full scholarship, majoring in accounting and minoring in marketing.
She marries Gavin in June 2026.
Joshua “Josh” Nathaniel Hardwick is Cassandra and Nathaniel’s son. He was born September 30, 2007, in Vienna-on-the-Lake, Illinois.
As a child, his interests include guitars, skateboards and cars. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he also began watching disaster movies.
In fourth grade, he needed tutored in math until he could bring up his grades.
His friends include Jayden, Caden, Nolan and Preston.
His first serious attraction is to Olivia, a cheerleader at his school, but he later falls for Gianna Esposito who also plays guitar.
Josh and Gianna form a band with Brooklyn, Landon and Carter, teens from other local high schools. The band wins the Lake County Battle of the Bands in 2023. After graduating high school, the bandmates work at turning professional.
Sophia “Sophie” Grace Hardwick is Cassandra and Nathaniel’s second daughter. She was born June 11, 2011, in Vienna-on-the-Lake, Illinois.
Sweet and always helpful, Sophie loves unicorns, horses, nail polish, nice clothes and anything she finds pretty.
Her best friend is Bella, and other friends include Brooklyn and Aaliyah.
Sophie starts puberty a bit early in 2022 and begins noticing boys not long after.
In June 2026, Sophie is sister Megan‘s maid of honor.
Matthew “Matt” Charles Hardwick is Cassandra and Nathaniel’s son. He was born July 28, 2016, in Vienna-on-the-Lake, Illinois.
In 2020, Cassandra pulls Matt out of preschool because of the COVID-19 pandemic, and he never returns, starting kindergarten at the elementary school instead when he is old enough.
In June 2026, Matt’s role in sister Megan‘s wedding is to bring caged doves to the altar for release.
