Generation 1
Unnamed grandmother: A loyalist who fled Massachusetts after the American Revolution with her husband and children. They settled in New Brunswick.
Generation 2
Unnamed mother: Fled Massachusetts as a youth with her parents after the American Revolution. Died in New Brunswick before 1820. She had at least one child, Lavinia.
Generation 3
Lavinia Fox: Born in 1787, she married Horace Winthrop and had three children: Ashley (1808-1816), Claire (1810-1892) and Cyrus (1811-1815). She was widowed in 1814 and died in 1863.
Generation 4
Claire Winthrop: Born in 1810 in Fredericton, New Brunswick, she marries Harold Appleton (the son of Ebenezer Appleton and Temperance Blackburn) in 1827. They have 11 children: Harold Jr. (1828-1829), Emily (1830-unknown), Cherry (1831-unknown), August (1833-unknown), Blossom (1834-1841), Vera (1837-1852), Rose (1839-1923), Emery (1842-unknown), Perry (1844-1849), Christine (1847-unknown) and Anabel (1850-unknown.)
Generation 5
Rose Appleton: Born 1839 in Upper Canada, she marries Louis Goodwin (the son of Perry Goodwin and Clover Thatcher) in 1857. They have 10 children: Frank (1858-1924), Oscar (1859-1917), Lucretia (1862-1942), Rebecca (1863-1884), Milton (1865-1931), Jeremy (1865-1877), Sadie (1868-1945), Minnie (1871-1953), Lucy (1873-1951) and Steven (1876-1952). Her 64 grandchildren include Ruth, Lizzie, Amanda, David, Jim, Jane, Matilda, Tillie, Alan and Perry.
Generation 6
Lucretia Goodwin: Born in 1862 in Canada West, she marries Benjamin Steward (the son of Augustus Steward and Celia McGregor) in 1885. They have eight children: Ida Morris (1886-1963), Walter (1888-1957), Mabel Hill (1890-1969), Henrietta Taylor (1892-1972), Frederick (1893-1965), Thomas (1896-1969), Alice Viens (1898-1942) and Adelaide Ford (1900-1983).
Generation 7
Henrietta “Hettie” Steward: Born in 1892 in Ontario, she marries Geoffrey Bartlette (the son of Gordon Bartlette and Amelia Gray) in 1914. They have no children, and he is killed during the Great War. She marries Alfred Taylor (the son of Mackenzie Taylor and Luella) in 1918. They have four children: Simon (1919-2013), Anne (1921-1992), Rose (1923-) and Timothy (1925-2006).
