I never expected my tiny hometown to be the setting for my very own rock star romance, but here we are.

Devon Dixson came to Sunny Rock Harbor, MI to get away from it all. His band’s future is uncertain, and his well of inspiration has run dry. He may not want to face it, but the truth is that Devon needs a little help to get his groove back. A summer fling is just the ticket.

Our first two meetings went horribly, but then we both came around. Now all we need is to have a little fun before vacation season winds down and Devon goes home again. Just a simple dalliance, nothing more.

Besides, it’s not like we could ever build a life together. I have a business to run here, and he’s only in town on vacation. Once the summer’s over, we’ll go our separate ways, easy peasy.

But the more time I spend with him, the more I realize that what we have is special. God help me, I don’t want him to leave.
